As a seasoned professional in the senior care needs industry, Michael Newman felt frustrated by the limited resources of seniors in his community. This frustration eventually shaped his vision – to create a company that would serve seniors in the community by providing trusted care, compassionate support and professional advice. In 1996, Michael acted on his vision and founded Always Best Care. Since that time, Always Best Care has become the nations leading non-medical, In-Home Care and Assisted Living Placement Services company.
People with passion have made Always Best Care what it is today and although times may change, our foundation never will.
Our Story & Why We Are Here To Help.
Eva has been a nurse working with geriatrics as well as clients with Alzheimer's and dementia for the past 10 years. "I really love working with seniors and their families and feel privileged to be a part of their lives. I truly feel that the greatest reward of being a nurse is seeing the sparkle in a clients eye as they reminisce about their past, and to be a part of the successes when clients receive the care that they need, which allows them to lead a full life once again. I have repeatedly seen the need for quality care to be available to the senior population and have decided that it was time to step up and respond to that need."
Jim got into this industry after his father was diagnosed with cancer. "My father lived relatively close so it was not hard for me to go and help him frequently, but as his cancer progressed I quickly realized that the task of caring for my father was more than I could handle. I became overwhelmed because I was not able to help him with everything he needed. I was very lucky to have my wife Eva who know where to go and who to ask for the help he needed. Eva hired a couple of caregivers to come in and help my father for 4-6 hours a day. To this day I can't stress enough how wonderful it was to have these caregivers, I was then able to spend that quality time with my father that I didn't have before because a caregiver was now preparing his meals, cleaning his home, helping to bathe and dress him. I know that sometimes we think that as a son or daughter who has a loved one in this situation; that it is our responsibility to take care of our parent. However; too often I hear that these same adult children are just burned out because they are now taking care of two families, and are now starting to build resentment, instead of being able to spend the quality time that they should with our aging and or ailing parent. Truly, the one thing I always hear is that familiy members express is; that the one thing that they wished they would have done differently was spent more time with their mother or father."
Eva and I are here to help seniors and their families with their care, dignity and the respect they deserve. By letting us provide the care; the familiy is freed to become a family and step away from the caregiver role. Let us help YOU. We will treat you like our family. ALWAYS |
